The 2017 Schuylkill County Fall Clean up & Recycling event will take place the week of September 18th. Tamaqua Transfer Station will be taking the following items: Tires – only automobile, light truck & motorcycle/RV tires up to 16″ are accepted for $2/tire without rims and $3/tire with rims. Limit 10 tires. Freon bearing A/Cs, refrigerators, dehumidifiers – $10 each. Non-Freon bearing & scarp metal – stoves, washers, dryers, water heaters, bicycles, BBQ grills, metal furniture – No Charge. Bulky items – mattresses, box springs, rolls of carpet, doors & windows – $10. Sofas, overstuffed chairs – $5 per cushion. You must be bring proof of county residency must be provided.
