4. POLICE REPORT. Motion made by Vice-Chairman Leibensperger. Motion seconded by Supervisor Motroni. Ms. Fenstermacher polled the Board. All voted yes.
5. SEWER DEPARTMENT REPORT. Motion made by Vice-Chairman Leibensperger. Motion seconded by Supervisor Motroni. Ms. Fenstermacher polled the Board. All voted yes.
6. MINUTES OF PREVIOUS – NOVEMBER 19, 2012 AND MINUTES OF BUDGET MEETING HELD ON NOVEMBER 29, 2012. Motion made by Vice-Chairman Leibensperger. Motion seconded by Supervisor Motroni. Ms. Fenstermacher polled the Board. All voted yes.
7. TREASURER’S REPORT – AS OF NOVEMBER 30, 2012. Motion made by Vice-Chairman Leibensperger. Motion seconded by Supervisor Motroni. Ms. Fenstermacher polled the Board. All voted yes.
8. APPROVAL OF CURRENT TOWNSHIP AND SEWER BILLS THRU DECEMBER 31, 2012. Motion made by Vice-Chairman Leibensperger. Motion seconded by Supervisor Motroni. Ms. Fenstermacher polled the Board. All voted yes.

12. OLD BUSINESS –
A) Motion to adopt the 2013 budget. Motion made by Vice-Chairman Leibensperger. Motion seconded by Supervisor Motroni. Ms. Fenstermacher polled the Board. All voted yes.
13. NEW BUSINESS –
A) Motion to adopt resolution #2012-21 Procedures for compliance with the professional services contract provisions of Act 44 of 2009. Motion made by Vice-Chairman Leibensperger. Motion seconded by Supervisor Motroni. Ms. Fenstermacher polled the Board. All voted yes.
B) Motion to adopt the PSATS disclosure statement for the uniform and non-uniform pension plans. Motion made by Vice-Chairman Leibensperger. Motion seconded by Supervisor Motroni. Ms. Fenstermacher polled the Board. All voted yes.
C) Motion to re-appoint Thomas Murphy to the Planning Commission for a 4 year term beginning 1/1/2013. Motion made by Vice-Chairman Leibensperger. Motion seconded by Supervisor Motroni. Ms. Fenstermacher polled the Board. All voted yes.
D) Motion to advertise the re-organization meeting for 7 pm on January 7, 2013 with the regular meeting immediately following. Motion made by Vice-Chairman Leibensperger. Motion seconded by Supervisor Motroni. Ms. Fenstermacher polled the Board. All voted yes.
14. SUPERVISOR’S COMMENT – We will be starting the new trash and sewer billing program with the 4th quarter of 2012. We are asking all residents to be patient and help the staff work through this transition. All payments can be made at the Rush Township Municipal building from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday thru Friday, or mailed to 104 Mahanoy Avenue, Tamaqua PA 18252.
With the Holidays falling on a Tuesday, Friday trash pick for the week of Christmas and New Year’s will be on Saturday.
