Planning Commission

Five township residents are appointed for four-year terms to the Planning Commission by the township Board of Supervisors.

Planning Commission members review plans for land developments and subdivisions, proposed zoning changes, and zoning ordinance amendments. They present their reviews to the Board of Supervisors.

Planning in Rush Township is governed by the 2009 Eastern Schuylkill Planning Region Joint Subdivision And Land Development Ordinance (SALDO), which was enacted by the township supervisors on Oct. 20, 2009.
