Welcome to Rush Township
Thank you for visiting Rush Township's home on the Internet.
Rush Township is almost 24 square miles of farmland, hills, villages, residential developments, commercial property, and light industries in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. Of that, 22.8 square miles is land, and 1.0 square mile (about 4.25 percent) is water.
On this site, you can explore the township's history, get detailed information about the services provided to residents and businesses, and learn about governmental operations. We invite you to check back often, as new information is added before and after municipal meetings.
Whether you want to read the newest proposed ordinance, find out when your garbage will be picked up, or discover how "Quakake" got its name, you can find it here.
